Client Goals

The vision was clear: improve the home’s structure, style, and connection to the outdoors, without sacrificing comfort or warmth. The homeowners wanted a space that felt fresh, bright, and reflective of their style: modern and crisp, but with warmth and depth. Functionality was key, especially in the kitchen and bath areas, where layout and storage needed to support their lifestyle. They leaned into a blue-and-white color palette, inspired by the lake itself, with layered lighting, luxe finishes, and moments of bold design that would surprise and delight throughout the home.

Design Details & Material Mood

From the navy kitchen island and high-gloss cobalt fridge to the crisp white cabinetry and mixed tile backsplash, every inch of the kitchen was built to stand out. The bathrooms keep things light and spa-like, with large format tile, modern vanities, and full-glass showers that frame the water view like a painting. This remodel features a blend of natural textures, modern finishes, and lakeside inspiration. Thermo-Tech® Windows bringing in natural light and energy efficiency and LP Smart Siding from Diamond Kote® adds texture and dimension. Inside, high-grade engineered hardwood flooring pairs with custom cabinetry from Creations Cabinets® and Cambria® quartz countertops for a refined but relaxed feel. Gold hardware, warm lighting layers, and underfloor heating in key areas brought in those cozy details that make a house feel like home.

The Vision in Motion

We reimagined each room to maximize flow and functionality while preserving openness and lake views. The kitchen was completely updated with custom cabinetry, upgraded lighting, and new appliances. Bathrooms were opened up and styled for both comfort and drama, while storage nooks and smart design moments were added throughout. Rich walnut cabinetry and soft leather tones in the minibar and living areas add warmth and contrast to the bright white walls and trim, while geometric tile at the fireplace adds just the right dose of personality. At every turn, the design reflects the homeowners’ bold style, and the calming backdrop of the water beyond the windows.

Standout Moments

The fireplace is a true showpiece with its patterned blue tile surround and floating wood mantel, adding warmth and color to the living room. The kitchen backsplash steals the show with a playful, geometric mix of navy, sky, and white tiles, a perfect pairing with the statement blue fridge and marble-look counters. Tucked between spaces, the custom minibar with rich wood cabinetry and matte black hardware offers both function and charm. In the bathroom, the long vanity and frameless glass shower create a spa-like experience that’s only enhanced by the view of the lake framed in the distance. Every space was designed to be both memorable and livable, a true lakeside retreat with personality!
